Tenants – Our aim is to take away all the stress and strain of renting your new Home.  Cherwell Property will guide you through every step of the letting process.

We recommend that you start your property search approximately two months before you need to move home.  With more and more people looking to rent instead of buying, rental properties are very sought after therefore once you find your ideal home you need to act quickly!

We act as Agents on behalf of our landlords and we have an obligation to ensure the tenancy runs as smoothly as possible and the property is maintained to the same standard as the day the tenancy began.  We will be your first point of contact should you have any queries or problems throughout your tenancy.

Rent

Tenants are responsible for ensuring that rent is paid in full and on time each month.  Rent should be paid to us by standing order and should reach our account on or before the rent-due day.  Paying your rent on time each month protects you from the potential of a bad payment history should the rent be paid consistently late.

Insurance

The landlord is responsible for insuring the property and any items owned by them and left in the property. You are responsible for arranging insurance for your own possessions. Neither the landlord nor ourselves will accept any responsibility for loss or damage to your possessions.

We hope that you find the information contained in the Tenants section helpful to you. Please remember we are always here to help and happy to answer any questions you may have.
